About the Presenters

Tracie Guy-Decker is currently on sabbatical both from her role as Senior Partner with Joyous Justice, LLC, and as the co-host of the Joyous Justice Podcast (formerly Jews Talk Racial Justice). Tracie completed her undergraduate degree at Oberlin College and has an MA in Religious Studies from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago. Tracie lives in Baltimore with her Navy Chief (retired) spouse, their elementary-aged daughter, two poorly-trained dogs, and a long-suffering cat. 

Dr. Harriette E. Wimms is a Maryland licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing compassion-infused mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and families across the age span. Harriette is a prayer leader in both the Kohenet community and at Hinenu: The Baltimore Justice Shtiebl. She is the driving force behind Hinenu Jews of Color (JOC) and the Baltimore JOC Community Havurah. Harriette is also the inaugural Jews of Engagement Fellow at The Associated, Baltimore Jewish Federation (the first of this type of position within any Jewish federation system).
