An Interreligious Listening Session: In partnership with the Catholic Synod

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore invited the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies to offer our insights on interreligious dialogue and our efforts to help build an interreligious society as the global Church engages in a wide-ranging process of consultation that will help to determine its future and how it relates to the world. To that end, we invited people who have engaged in our mission of interreligious dialogue by attending our courses and programs to join us in a listening session in which we listened to their stories and insights about their own interreligious experiences. We compiled what we heard into a report that we submitted to the U.S. Catholic bishops conference and ultimately to the Vatican.
