Hospitality and Security: Congregational Life in the Era of Mass Shootings – Nov 7
Religious leaders from area congregations gathered at Church of the Holy Comforter/Kol HaLex for an evening of conversation about our theological, moral, and scriptural principles on hospitality and safety. We considered case studies exploring the ethical questions of today: How do we as religious leaders guide our communities through reflective conversations about core values in the face of real threats? Are there lessons and models we can learn from religious traditions that are not our own?

While in their shared space, we were able to learn about how they work together as an Episocal Church and Reconstructionist synagogue community to worship in shared spaces. For more information about their partnership, see this article.
