It’s a Silber-Obrecht Lecture video watch party! Join Heather Miller Rubens, ICJS executive director and Roman Catholic scholar, to watch and discuss the prerecorded Silber-Obrecht Lectures on two Tuesday mornings in the ICJS Library.

Join in the lively group discussion as we consider three big questions about our existence: “Are we good? Are we free? Are we more than dust, more than the flesh and blood that decomposes in the earth?”

Then plan to attend the live conversation with the speakers on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:00–5:30 PM at Goucher College in Baltimore.

About the Moderator

Heather Miller Rubens, Ph.D.

Heather Miller Rubens, Ph.D. is the Executive Director and Roman Catholic Scholar at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies (ICJS).

Heather is an experienced teacher, public speaker, facilitator, and scholar-practitioner of interreligious learning and dialogue. She develops educational initiatives that foster interreligious learning and conversation for the public in the Baltimore-Washington corridor and online. In her research and writing Heather creatively focuses on the theoretical, theological, ethical, and political implications of affirming religious diversity and building an interreligious society.
