Join the Jerusalem-based Nava Tehila group as we venture together into the landscape of the Psalms … prayers that have moved generations of Jews and Christians alike. A short text study led by Dr. Rosann M. Catalano and Rabbi Ilyse Kramer will precede the concert.
Nava Tehila is a Jerusalem-based Jewish group that creates and plays music to nourish the soul and stir the heart. Their delightful music is influenced by east and west, incorporating reggae, folk, Moroccan, Arabic and Hasidic touches, creating a heartfelt and deeply moving experience. They recently produced a CD of sacred music from Jerusalem that they hope will bring the beauty and spirituality of their community to others worldwide. Nava Tehila is led by Rabbi Ruth Gan Kagan. Pictured from left to right are Father Zechariah, Rabbi Ruth Gan Kagan, Yoel Sykes, and Daphna Rosenberg.
